Glowing Orange

It's spring. Orange is in!


Orange-toned colours look fantastic on all eye colours. So play with them!
I went for glowy skin, soft orange-toned eyes and classic liquid liner.

-MAC face and body foundation #C5
-Cover FX full coverage cream foundation #M40
-Inglot loose powder
-Tarte bronzer in Parke Ave Princess (contour)
-Tarte amazonian clay blush in Doll Face (matte doll pink)
-Inglot eyeshadow #30 (shimmery white-gold, as a face highlight)

Eyes:
-UDPP
-Inglot eyeshadows: 51 (bright orange blended over main eyelid), 407 (shimmer coral-gold on top of the orange), 30 (inner corner and browbone highlight)
-Urban Decay Naked Palette: Buck (matte medium brown blended in the crease, lower lashline)
-Rimmel black liquid liner
-Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

Lips:
-Jack Black lemon lip balm

Makeup on Pooja

Hello reader!
So over Easter weekend, Pooja had a very important anniversary to attend! She entrusted her face to me, of all people! She said she wanted something bright and colourful to match her sari. I was to avoid super-dark colours and bring on the shine.
This is what I came up with.

-Inglot shadows: #361 (light pink blended in crease); #495 (bright hot pink traced along the crease); #74 (deep red-plum etched in crease); #73 (dark red purple in the deep crease)
-Sugarpill Chromalust in Goldilux (ridiculous sparkly gold pigment, applied wet onto the main lid)
-MUFE Star Powder # 943 (pink duo-chrome applied to browbone and inner corners)
-Lise Watier loose pigment in Folie Blanche (on top of the pink Star Powder)
-MAC eyeshadow in Carbon (used wet as an upper-lid eyeliner)
- Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette shimmery forest green on lower lashline (3rd from the left, 2nd from the bottom)

Gilded Prom Girl

For you prom girlies with warm skin tones and an ache for summer, I have devised the perfect soft glowy golden-bronze look for you!

This soft peachy gold look is very easy to do and can be adapted to any skin tone (using slightly darker shades if you have darker skin, use less orange-toned shades if you're lighter...).If you're not used to heavy-looking eye makeup, try this out!

-LOTS AND LOTS OF BRONZER FOR CONTOURING! I use Tarte bronzer in Park Avenue Princess

-Inglot eyeshadow #07 (gold for a cheek highlight)

-Inglot shadows: 407 (golden coral all over eyelid and lower lashline), 405 (crease, lower lashline), 30 (white gold shimmer, browbone and inner corners)
-MAC eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown (eyebrows as always, upper lashes, lower lashes)
-Stila eyeliner in Topaz (peach colour, lower waterline)
-L'Oreal Carbon Black Mascara
