So I went to MAC...

...Because Project 10 Pan is finished!!! Yayyy!

I bought Duo Lash Adhesive, MAC Lipstick in Captive, MAC Cremesheen Glass in Double Dare, and some foundations which I will make a separate post for.

Here is the lash glue!!

Duo Adhesive, clear drying

This stuff is like false-lash cement. Trust me, they aren't going anywhere. And you can remove it from your skin with a cotton swab and some makeup remover.

Here is the lipgloss!
Double Dare, awesome

Double Dare is a creamy berry red-pink shade, which will suit absolutely anyone. I am actually so excited about this because it has a warmer pink undertone but a plummy shine too. GAH!

Here is the lipstick!

Captive, yummy

This colour perplexes me. it is a beautiful, warm plummy pink on the lips, but looks a lot more red and not as dark on the stick itself. When I tested it at MAC, it felt much creamier, whereas the one I have feels more matte (though it is a "satin" finish). It is also darker and more opaque than I thought, but that could have been the fluorescent lighting at MAC. I like to sheer it out over lip balm, but it looks fabulous full-force, especially on darker skin tones! The colour is also extremely long lasting for a lipstick, possibly because it isn't so greasy. LOVE THIS!

Glue: 9.50$
Gloss: 22.50$
Stick: 17.50$

Pinup on Redheads

This is Amanda. She is gorgeous.
I decided to do a simple, timeless look on her that could suit practically anyone, if it is tweaked a bit for different skin tones.
She had some makeup on already that I had to work around.
Cellphone was all we had for pictures.

Gorgeous!!!

Looking down
 Closeup!
Because Kanga-Rouge is actually that awesome!
Ok so I love this lipstick! Red looks fantastic on reds! Unfortunately, Kanga-Rouge was limited edition from a MAC collection a few years ago called Dame Edna. It was re-promoted this year but I did not know about it. A close dupe is MAC's MAC Red.

Products Used:

Face:
-Benefit Boi-ing concealer #01
-Nars Orgasm Blush

Eyes:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion
-Inglot Eyeshadow #351 (cream colour all over eyelids)
-Urban Decay Naked Palette:
  • Buck (traced along the crease, outer lower lashes)
  • Naked (to blend Buck up a bit)
-NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk (inner corners, waterline)
-Inglot Eyeshadow #496 (sparkling white, inner corners on op of NYX pencil, browbone)
-Rimmel Glam'Eyes black liquid liner (sort of cat-eye shape)
-Whatever mascara she was already wearing

Lips:
-Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick (outer corners of mouth, and slightly around lips shape)
-MAC Kanga-Rouge (THE best red ever. All over lips)

Amanda should model. Non?

Yellow Lips?!

This one is for you, Kyle.
Kyle is my boyfriend who loves Spongebob Squarepants and bright colours very much.
Notice the new, yellow addition to my blog over there to your right?
Inspired by Kyle's quirky and bright personality is this unusual lip-focused look, if ya wanna call it that...

We all live in a yellow submarine
Because of the lighting in the pictures, my skin looks a funny colour and my lips look like duck lips.... But they're yellow so it's all good.
...And they were aaalll yellow
I don't see any reason why lips cannot be a colour other than pink or red or things like that. I like to have fun with colour, and while this may not be your ideal lip for school, you may want to try it out to wear to some kind of sporting event where the team colours are, oh I don't know, BLACK AND YELLOW.... <3 PCHS.
Moving on. People with a lot of redness in their skin might want to consider trying a colour other than yellow for this. Yellow will make redness look even worse. So will green.

Products Used:

-Lip Smackers Vanilla lips balm (I wiped most of it off once it soaked in)
-NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk (any white pencil would do, applied all over the lips)
-A mix of clear lip gloss, a small chunk of white eyeliner, and a whole bunch of powder from the following eyeshadows:
  1. Inglot #60
  2. Inglot #474
I just scraped the eyeshadow with a concealer brush and mixed it on the back of my hand with the gloss and pencil to make a kind of lipstick. I then applied it with a lip brush. The end!

I had a lot of fun with this, and I hope you all try something like it in different colours. Who says you need to hunt down some expensive European company for yellow lips? Add some polka dots while you're at it.
